Mainstreaming Human Rights Districts/Cities 2022
The Human Rights District/City Mainstreaming Conference is a forum for meeting, exchanging knowledge, ideas, and sharing experiences on real practices that have been successfully implemented in building districts/cities that are in line with human rights values. The Conference on Mainstreaming District/City of Human Rights was organized by Komnas HAM, INFID, the Office of the Presidential Staff (KSP), district/city governments and several partner institutions by involving all stakeholders related to the issue of Regency/City of Human Rights from within and outside the country. .
The Human Rights District/City Mainstreaming Conference was held in Jakarta in 2014 and 2015. In the third year (2016) the name of the Human Rights District/City Mainstreaming Conference was changed to the Human Rights Festival. The use of the name Festival HAM aims to be able to involve more institutions, civil society, not be rigid and populist. The 2016 Human Rights Festival was held in Bojonegoro, East Java.
Furthermore, in 2017 the Human Rights Festival was held in Jakarta. Then, in 2018 the Human Rights Festival was held in Wonosobo, Central Java. In 2019 the Human Rights Festival was held in Jember, East Java. Then the Human Rights Festival 2020 was held for the first time outside Java, namely in Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan. In 2021 the Human Rights Festival will be held in Semarang, Central Java. In 2022 the Joint Committee Team, namely Komnas HAM, INFID, and KSP, will again use the name of the Human Rights District/City Mainstreaming Conference. The 2022 Human Rights District/City Mainstreaming Conference will be held in Jakarta.
